Apr 11 - Superintendent Interview - Public Invited

A Search Committee was recently appointed by the School Committee to interview candidates for the position of Superintendent of Schools. Eight candidates were interviewed last week. Three names have been forwarded as finalists to the Seekonk School Committee. They are Dr. Elizabeth Zielinski, Mr. Kelly Clenchy and Ms. Madeline Meyer.

This evening the School Committee will hold its organizational meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the library at Seekonk High School followed by one interview - Dr. Zielinski. The other two candidates will be interviewed on Saturday, April 11, 2009 in the high school library. Ms. Meyer will be interviewed at 9:00 a.m. followed by an interview with Mr. Clenchy at 11:00 a.m.

All three of these interviews will be held in open session. I strongly would encourage you to attend these sessions. Questions will be asked by the School Committee only. Site visits may be conducted next week. It is the intent of the School Committee to appoint a new Superintendent within the next several weeks.
