The bos is trying to urge all boards and committees to televise their open meetings. The Board of Heath refuses. Vicki Kinniburgh says it would be inappropriate and irresponsible because discussions can be sensitive. Brady says too bad. People have every right to know what's going on. Kinnigburgh insisted that if us plebeians really knew what was happening that directly affects us, we would be sent into a panic. Gee, Vicki. You sure have a way to calm frayed nerves.
I agree with Brady. If a meeting is open to the public, it should be made available by every means possible. It's too bad we will likely have to create a by-law to achieve what should be a no brainer.
