A letter in this morning's Sun Chronicle warns organizations that they are in danger of losing their tax exempt status if they fail to complete an online form before 10/15. The list of those whose status is in jeopardy is available at irs.gov.

According to the letter, there are close to 8000 such organizations in Massachusetts. I checked the site which is listed alphabetically and scrolled down to Seekonk and found five including Seekonk Junior Golf League, Inc and Seekonk Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation.

If anyone knows someone who heads up a non-profit in the area, I am sure they would appreciate being directed to the website to be sure their organization is in compliance.
